First quarter pre-tax profit fall.

The first quarter of 1998 saw pre-tax profit at UK broking group
Sedgwick fall to £38.3m ($62.7m) from £43.5m in the first quarter last
year. Exchange rates accounted for £2.5m of the £5.2m decrease
