AMII and AMI respond to FSA’s policy statement

The Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) and the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries have welcomed the Financial Services Authority's (FSA) Policy Statement finalising FSA regulatory fees for 2009/10 which will reduce the level of fees payable by IFAs and mortgage advisers by £11.7million in comparison to the initial FSA proposal.

Chris Cummings, Director General of AIFA and AMI, said: "Following AIFA and AMI's highly publicised 'fees campaign' I am delighted that FSA has revised the fees paid by IFAs and mortgage advisers

Axa Partners hit with FCA limitations

Following the Which? super complaint, the Financial Conduct Authority has told Axa Partners UK it cannot grow its current customer base without written permission from the regulator.
