Ecomony to take a £1.2bn hit as millions stay at home due to snow
Millions of workers have stayed at home following heavy snowfall across large parts of England.
The Federation of Small Businesses estimates that about 6.4 million people, about 20% of the workforce, have failed to make it into work and that this could cost the economy £1.2bn.
