Prebensen in for Avery at Wellington
Preben Prebensen will step in as chief executive at Wellington Underwriting on 20 September succeeding Julian Avery who is retiring from the board. Mr Avery announced his retirement back in March, and will continue to be available to the board until he leaves the company next year.
Mr Prebensen joined J P Morgan & Co in 1978 and held a number of senior investment banking positions in London and New York including head of UK andScandinavia.
