St George's Day deadline for claims farmers
The head of claims management regulation for the Department for Constitutional Affairs, Mark Boleat, confirmed that it would be an offence to operate without authorisation from 23rd April 2007.
Mr Boleat confirmed today that this time frame had deliberately been very short and that penalties for non-compliance would be severe.
