US non-life market faces turbulent times - Dowling
(BestWire) - The U.S. insurance market will see interesting times over the next 18 months as it deals with both the financial crisis and the remaking of troubled giant American International Group Inc, according to Vincent J. Dowling, founder of equity analysts Dowling & Partners Securities.
Speaking at an Insurance Institute of London lecture at Lloyd's on the state of the U.S. market, Dowling said that although the market had about $100bn-150bn (€76bn-114bn) of excess capital inOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
