Allied World to buy Converium North America shell
Bermudian class of 2001 (re)insurer Allied World Assurance Company has announced that its US holding company has entered into an agreement to buy Converium Insurance (North America).
Allied World said that the deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2008, subject to regulatory approvals. Following the closing, it is anticipated that the company will be renamed Allied
