Platinum Re ups Ike estimates
Platinum Underwriters Holdings, the Bermuda-based (re)insurer, has increased its loss estimate from Hurricane Ike by approximately $60mto a total estimate of approximately $165m, net of reinstatement premiums and tax benefit.
