Torus appoints new head of global casualty arm
Torus Insurance Holdings, the Bermuda-domiciled specialty insurer, has appointed David Perez as president and chief underwriting officer of its global casualty arm, with effect from October 14th. He will report directly to David Hope, Torus’ chief underwriting officer.
Perez moves to Torus from AIG, where over the last 14 years he directed the largest portfolio of lead umbrella business in the United States, ran a high excess casualty capacity offshore subsidiary
