Highway reveals takeover bids
Highway Insurance has confirmed it received a number of takeover offers at the end of 2004, prompting further bid speculation after more than seven million of its shares were traded yesterday.
The company's share price rose by as much as 6.4% in early trading today, after the insurer made its statement, however it said discussions are "at a preliminary stage" and talks are likely toOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
