Over 30 die as London hit by blasts

Three explosions on the London Underground - killing 33 people - and one double decker bus - with unknown deaths - temporarily paralysed the city of London this morning. There are also many hundreds of casualties. A co-ordinated terrorist attack is suspected as the cause.

Home Secretary Charles Clarke said blasts occurred between Aldgate East and Liverpool Street tube stations; between Russell Square and King's Cross tube stations; at Edgware Road tube station; and on
