Corifrance triples profits in 2003
Compagnie de Reassurance d’Ile de France (Corifrance) has announced that it made a post-tax profit of €2.9m, almost three times the €1m it posted in 2002.
The French reinsurer said that the year had seen a slight decrease in gross accounted premiums, going from €29.81m to €29.67m. Under French GAAP the combined ratio came to 93.2%.President Eric Vernhes
