Indian Ocean earthquake's financial losses estimated at £7bn
Financial damage resulting from the Indian Ocean earthquake disaster has been estimated at about £7bn.
According to Munich Re, this is a provisional figure as insurers are still counting their losses.The fourth largest earthquake in the world since 1900 affected countries all around the Bay of Bengal
