Markel reports good earnings from 2004
Markel has announced that 2004 was another good year for the company, with earnings up.
The company said that net income for the year came to $165.4m, a rise of 33.9% on the $123.5m that it reported for 2003. Net income for the fourth quarter of 2004 came to $50.3m, up on the $44.7mOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
