Munich Re subsidiary subpoenaed by Spitzer
Munich Re has confirmed that one of its North American units has received subpoenas from insurance regulators in North Carolina and Texas in connection with the ongoing Spitzer investigation into alleged bid-rigging in the US insurance industry.
Munich America Risk Partners, a unit of American Re which is owned by Munich Re, received the two subpoenas for information at the beginning of November.
