Swiss Re and First American launch US flood model
Swiss Re has joined forces with US business information provider First American to launch a flood catastrophe model.
The model was built to help insurers and reinsurers better estimate flood risk in the US by measuring their financial exposure to floods at the portfolio, policy and property level.
