Industrial deafness verdict: Claimant firm to appeal
Sheffield solicitors Wake Smith, which bought the long-running noise induced hearing loss (industrial deafness) litigation, is set to appeal at least part of today's verdict.
The proceedings brought against Coats, Courtaulds and Pretty Polly were to establish if they were responsible for damage caused to their employees’ hearing at noise levels of below 90 decibels even
