Life Direct warns on Inheritance Tax
Neglecting to put a life policy into trust could give the Inland Revenue a windfall of £2bn, according to specialist online brokers Life Direct.
According to the Association of British Insurers there are 34 million individual life policies in the UK, however an estimated 95% are not in trust. Life Direct estimates the average policy at £15,000
