Hurricane Ike hammers Texas Coast
Hurricane Ike has arrived on the Texas Coast, devestating the City of Galveston and threatening Houston.
Reports from the US National Hurricane Centre said that Ike had made landfall at Galveston.Much of the city was submerged, and there were worries that Ike might travel up the Houston Ship ChannelOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
