DTI survey reveals slow change in gender earnings gap
Women in the UK on average earn 53% of the wages of their male counterparts according to The Department of Trade and Industry, published the latest individual income statistics today.
The results presented in the publication provide separate estimates of the weekly individual incomes of women and men in 2002/03 for three income measures: total (gross plus tax credits), netOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
