Hannover Re core operations recognised by S&P
Ratings agency Standard & Poor's has assigned its 'AA-' counterparty credit and insurer financial strength ratings to five foreign life and health reinsurance subsidiaries of Germany-based reinsurer Hannover Re; AA-/Stable/--): Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America, Hannover Life Reassurance Bermuda, Hannover Life Reassurance Ireland, Hannover Life Reassurance (UK), and Hannover Life Reassurance of Australasia. It said the outlook on all the entities was stable.
"These rating assignments reflect our view that each of these operating companies is core to Hannover Re," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Hiltrud Besgen.
