Applegarth quits Rock
Adam Applegarth has quit as chief executive of struggling bank Northern Rock from today, earlier than expected.
The bank has been at the centre of a financial storm and has so far borrowed around £25bn from the Bank of England.Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
