Ascot increases capacity for 2009
Ascot Underwriting has increased its capacity for next year by £20m after the insurer's owner AIG lodged the funds at Lloyd's to support Ascot's 2009 business plan.
In a statement Ascot's said it has increased its 2009 capacity by £20m to £470m, in anticipation of hardening rates after hurricanes Gustav and Ike.
