Mapfre Re announces capital increase
Madrid-based Mapfre Re has announced that it will be carrying out a €150m capital increase in the first four months of 2004.
The increase, which follows a €60m rights issue in March 2003, will take the shareholder's equity of the company to €475m. Mapfre Re is hoping to use the increase to raise its business volumeOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
