Uncertainty prevails over draft solvency II legislation
Rodney Bonnard, actuarial partner at Ernst & Young, commenting on today’s publication of the draft EU directive on Solvency II, said: "The publication of the directive is a significant milestone on the road to Solvency II which will require that insurers across the EU hold amounts of capital proportionate to the risks of their business.
