Homeserve snaps up Chem Dry
Homeserve, the home emergency company, today confirmed the expansion of its disaster restoration activities with the acquisition of Chem Dry UK and its related businesses for a cash consideration, payable on completion of £18.9m on a debt free basis, as predicted by Post Magazine (PM, 10 March, p4).
Chem-Dry currently has over 230 franchisees covering the UK with over 640 licences and has commercial arrangements with seven leading household insurers. The business has 210 employees and operatesOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
