Advent records £25.2m profit
Lloyd's insurer Advent this morning announced a profit before tax of £25.2m. It added Advent Re made an underwriting profit of £4.9m in its first year of opertaion.
Its profit after tax was £19.2m (2006: £16.0m) on net premiums earned £96.0m (2006: £81.7m).
The combined ratio was 78%.
