PPI consumers overcharged by £1.4bn a year - Competition Commission
The Competition Commission’s long-awaited report on the selling of Payment Protection Insurance has found provisionally that customers are being overcharged by as much as £1.4bn a year.
The report shows that the vast majority of the UK’s more than 14 million PPI policies are sold at the same time as the consumer takes out a loan or other types of credit.
As such, many are unaware
