Goldman Sachs in £700m bid for Benfield
US investment bank Goldman Sachs has made a £700m bid for reinsurance broker Benfield, according to a report.
The Telegraph said the deal broke down early last week after the private equity arm of the bank found it difficult to secure debt financing for the takeover. However, it is felt the deal could beOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
