XL insurance unit names new property underwriter for the Americas
XL Insurance, the insurance unit of struggling Bermuda-based (re)insurer XL Capital, said that it has named Mike Martin as chief property underwriter for the Americas.
Commenting on the appointment, John Gallagher, XL Insurance's chief underwriting officer for global property said: "Mike's appointment is well-deserved.
