Gustav damage could top $10bn claim experts
Insured losses from Hurricane Gustav could range between $3.8 bn and $10bn, according to initial estimates based on the latest information from catastrophe risk experts, Risk Management Solutions and AIR Worldwide.
This includes both on and offshore losses from wind and storm surge, and does not take account of any potential damage to the levees in New Orleans, or flooding from excessive rainfall which may occur
