Zurich extends D&O cover in answer to new Companies Act
Zurich in the UK, working in partnership with City law firm, Davies Arnold Cooper is to issue an extension of coverage for its Directors and Officers (D&O) policy wording in response to the new law and procedures now in place under the Companies Act 2006 governing shareholder derivative actions against Directors.
Such are the changes in law and implementation of new Court procedures that the standard D&O policy approach will not normally allow cover to be triggered early enough to meet potentially substantial
