IFB sees 50% increase in reported fraud
The Insurance Fraud Bureau has seen over 50% of reports now being reported online since launching its enhanced Cheatline facility in November 2008.
January and February 2009 have seen record months with over 255 reports being received by the Bureau containing information relating to all types of suspected insurance fraud.
