New cyclone detection system promises accurate predictions
Researchers at the University of Greenwich have developed a software system designed to detect Cyclones, and help weather forecasters warn communities at risk.
The technology adopts a theory called "fuzzy logic" which according to a statement from the researchers, provides a means of interpreting imprecise and variable natural phenomena, such as weatherOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
