FERMA calls for EC to define transparency practices

Many national risk management associations have already begun or are considering some form of inquiry or action, as details of contingent commissions, market service agreements and even price collusion between brokers and insurers have emerged from the Spitzer inquiry, according to a survey by the Federation of European Risk Management Associations.

FERMA itself and the International Federation of Risk and Insurance Management Associations are also developing proposals on the subject that will be put before their members in 2005.
