March Japan quake third most expensive
The earthquake that hit the Japanese city of Fukuoka in northern Kyushu on 20 March 2005 was the third most expensive for earthquake insurance in Japanese history, according to the General Insurance Association (GIA) of Japan.
The earthquake, which had a magnitude of 7, occurred off the coastline of Kyushu approximately 25 miles from the city. One person was killed and more than 400 wounded by falling debris.According to
