Ryanair Rome near-crash insured by Axa - source
A Ryanair flight which narrowly averted a crash after a flock of birds was caught in the plane's engines was insured by French insurance giant Axa, Reinsurance has learned.
The Boeing 737, which was flying to Frankfurt to Rome, was brokered by Aon, the source added.
Aon declined to comment and Axa could not be reached to comment.
