Heritage unveils record 1st half results
Lloyd's insurer Heritage has unveiled record 1st half 2007 interim results, producing a profit before tax up 250% to £10.5m ($21m) and a return on equity of 24%.
The figures came off an 88% combined ratio which had been buoyed by a £0.9m reserve release from prior years, adding 11% to underwriting profits.
Overall profits were also swelled by a profit
