Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation v Davy McKee and ICI Chemicals & Polymers. (Technology and Construction Court - 18 June 2001).
In May 1987, the claimants, Deepak, entered into an agreement withDavy for the design and construction of a methanol plant in India,
utilising ICI's design process.
Davy contracted to notify Deepak
