Indie Trial sketch: Philip Condon

Philip Condon, found guilty of only one charge of conspiracy to defraud, received the shortest sentence today when the judge sent him to prison for three years, writes Olivier C Laurent .

Keeping a low profile throughout the trial, Mr Condon continued today when he learnt of his fate. His head down, he barely looked at the judge during the 30 minutes when Mr Rivlin gave his judgement.
