Indie trial delay
The trial of the three former directors of failed UK insurance company Independent Insurance has been pushed back by two weeks and will now be heard from Wednesday 30 May, according to sources. Administrative issues have forced the change to the original trial date at Southwark Crown Court, which was due to begin on Monday. Post Magazine, Reinsurance Magazine, Professional Broking and Insurance Age have established an online service dedicated to the forthcoming trial.
