A tight spot?

October's introduction of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act, has received a cool reception from employers. Simon Threadgold believes this addition to the growing mountain of employment law means a sharp rise in the need for legal expenses cover - should all else fail.

As if companies did not have enough to worry about, they could now
face the prospect of being sued by employees for intercepting personal
e-mail. This possibility comes as a result of the Regulation
