FCA issues warning over unauthorised insurance firm

Consumers have been warned to be “especially wary” over an insurance company which may have been selling services without authorisation.

The Financial Conduct Authority said the company, Halifax and Penn, did not have a license to offer financial services.

The warning was issued through the FCA's 'Scam Smart' alert system, and was
