Allianz's Asia-Pacific arm hit by stronger euro
Allianz's insurance unit across 14 countries in Asia-Pacific saw revenues and profits fall as the euro appreciated against Asian currencies.
Total revenues, excluding Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, were reported at €7.2bn compared to €7.4bn in the previous year. Operating profit amounted to €367m for 2013 compared to €470m in 2012
