Hank Greenberg to defend AIG accounting
Lawyers for Maurice "Hank" Greenberg are to present Securities and Exchange Commission regulators with a series of "white papers", defending the way he handled accounting while at the helm of American International Group, according to the Financial Times, quoting a source close to Mr Greenberg.
Previously, in his first public remarks about the accounting scandal at the world's biggest insurer, Mr Greenberg said lawyers and accountants had signed off on at least one of the accountingOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
