Gender Directive passed
The EU has finally passed the Equal Treatment (Gender) Directive, in its heavily amended form. Member States have 3 years to decide how they intend to implement it.
Hugh Savill of the Association of British Insurers said: "The Directive that has emerged from the Council of Ministers is a substantial improvement on the Commission's original proposal, which wouldOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
