Al Fayer Retakaful's ratings put under review by AM Best
Kuwaiti retakaful insurer Al Fayer Retakaful Insurance's financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) and issuer credit rating of "a-" of Al Fajer Retakaful Insurance Company KSCC (Al Fajer Re) (Kuwait) has been put under review with negative implications.
These rating actions follow the recent default of one of Al Fajer Re's shareholders, Global Investment House (Kuwait) (GIH), on some of its debt.
GIH has a 20% direct shareholding in Al Fajer Re and
