FSA to go ahead with compensation limits

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has announced it will go ahead with proposed changes to the compensation limits for insurance, investment and home finance advice business in the event of a firm failing.

RGA Q1 net income off 5%

Reinsurance Group of America, the US life reinsurer said that net income dropped 5% to $23.3 m, compared to $31.5 m in the prior-year quarter.

Chubb Q1 net income falls nearly 50%
