Lloyd’s insurers add £3bn in capital following storms
Lloyd’s carriers have added £3bn in capital in the wake of natural disasters in 2017.
In an email update to the market, CEO Dame Inga Beale, pictured, and chairman Bruce Carnegie-Brown, said so far £2bn has been paid out in claims for hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.
