IPT spurs fastest rise in home premiums in three years
Changes to insurance premium tax have spurred the fastest rise in home premiums in three years.
Average home insurance costs rose 7%, more than double the 2.6% rate of inflation for the economy as a whole, in the year to July to £131, according to Consumer Intelligence.
